Peter Kolb – Pastor
Pastor Peter Kolb was born in Lincoln Nebraska and attended the University of Nebraska and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield Illinois. Having grown up as an active member of a liberal church, he came to accept Jesus Christ as his personal Savior after graduating from High School. Pastor Peter has been the Senior Pastor of 4 churches in Minnesota, Michigan, and Illinois. 15 years ago God led him into a ministry of assisting churches in transition as an Intentional Interim Pastor. He considers it a privilege to become a part of churches who are seeking God for what is next and assisting them in identifying and addressing the challenges that arise in that season of ministry life. It is his great joy to be a part of God’s leading towards increased health and effectiveness. As a Shepherd Pastor Peter is passionate to encourage individuals to grow in their love relationship with Jesus. Pastor Peter is married to Christine who is the Executive Assistant to the President of Northern Seminary. They have two married daughters and 3 grandchildren.
Tim Thuemling – Pastoral Support / Elder
Tim Thuemling, married to wife Diane for 38 years, two children, two grandchildren with two more on the way. I have been worshiping at LTBC for 15 years.
I am an Elder and involved in administrative duties. I desire to serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ wherever and however He would use me, and to see people come to saving faith in Jesus.

Steve Simmermaker – Elder / Audio
Steve Simmermaker, married to wife Kate for 11 years, three children. I have been worshiping at LTBC for 4 years.
I am an Elder and in charge of Audio/Visual dept. My duties involve the sound and video systems for recording Sermons and music throughout the worship.
ELDER ROLE DEFINITION:
Elders are responsible for the primary leadership and oversight of a church. “Elders lead the church [1 Tim 5:17; Titus 1:7; 1 Peter 5:1–2], teach and preach the Word [1 Timothy 3:2; 2 Timothy 4:2; Titus 1:9], protect the church from false teachers [Acts 20:17, 28–31], exhort and admonish the saints in sound doctrine [1 Timothy 4:13; 2 Timothy 3:13–17; Titus 1:9], visit the sick and pray [James 5:14; Acts 6:4], and judge doctrinal issues [Acts 15:6].
